Re: DKE SPEAKER COLOR

Hello Aitor.

The in the DKE used speakers with press board as loudspeaker chasses, were installed in two colours (light brown/beige and dark brown/blackish). The assignment, which was used first, is no longer quite clear today, since these speakers were often replaced later. Probably the brighter speakrs were there first. About the year of change i have no information.

Re: DKE SPEAKER COLOR

Hallo, I have seen black speaker on a 1938 DKE (with the entbr). and it has the original soldering.

Is it possible that both speakers were used at the same time? Also, I think black speaker is more scarce than the brown one

Danke

Re: DKE SPEAKER COLOR

Hallo Aitor,

I've seen only a few black speakers in DKEs. Yes, it is possible that both types were installed in parallel. There are repeated discussions about the subject.

Best regards
Rainer
